In the course of our spiritual practices, we often find ourselves sharing space with people experiencing strong emotions and even trauma. In this session we will be discussing healthy boundaries, listening skills, consent, ways to avoid re-traumatizing someone, and other components of being a safe and effective support person with an emphasis on a spiritual context. Appropriate for clergy and non-clergy alike. Facilitated by an advocate for domestic violence survivors and a trauma-informed polytheist clergy member with experience working in crisis intervention.
