Cakes and Ale: Accommodating Special Diets

This traditional ritual of sharing food meant to bond a coven together may end up isolating members who follow special diets. Gluten sensitivity, nut allergies, and accommodating members in recovery who choose not to drink alcohol are all reasons to seek alternates to traditional cakes and ale. Finding these alternates can be a devotional act and can strengthen coven cohesion. We’ll discuss a variety of alternatives.
