Deborah Hamouris ("DJ" to her friends) is a singer-songwriter with a long performance and recording history in the Pagan community. Musically versatile, she performs as both a jazz vocalist and (on her mountain dulcimer) as a traditionally-influenced songsmith. Deborah released "1 in 8" in 2017 and "Snapshots" in 2012, both recorded with jazz guitarist Mimi Fox, and "The Green Man" as half of The DulciMates with husband, Buffalo. She currently directs Women & Song, teaches mountain dulcimer, and produces the Berkeley Dulcimer Gathering annually in May. In her spare time, and when the cat allows, she knits.
